Week 424–Mega Christmas challenge 2017!

*** WARNING – LONG POST ***

Grab a cuppa and a biscuit (or two) and make yourself comfortable!

Good morning dear crafters, we hope you all had a fantastic week last week. The DT really enjoyed visiting your blogs and seeing you fabulous creations for last week’s “use your favourite colours” challenge.  Don't forget to check back later to find out who the lucky winner of 3 digi images courtesy of Lemon Shortbread will be and also to see who Karen has chosen as her top 5 Passionista.

This week we are launching our very special “Mega Christmas challenge” which runs for a whole month and ends on 2nd January 2018!  I’m sure you’ll agree that both design teams have worked extremely hard once again this year and they deserve a little break to catch up on their last minute gifts and cards.  However to make up for the lack of challenges we have some fantastic prizes up for grabs!  Our theme for the Mega Christmas challenge is “add a sentiment” which is such a simple theme for you so we expect lots of entries!!  You are welcome to make Christmas cards but as the challenge will still be running after the ‘BIG’ day you can of course make any type of creation as long as you follow the theme.  As time is precious for our DT at this time of year we are limiting the number of entries you can make to just 3 for this month long challenge.  Please remember to be eligible for our prizes you must use your promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, metallic or aqua markers.  Please can you help us by stating which Letraset products you have used on your creation i.e. ‘coloured with promarkers’ etc.  Thanks x x

So now for the exciting bit – the prizes!

DigiStamp Boutique are generously offering one lucky winner a prize of a £10.00 voucher.

Week 423–use your favourite colours

Good morning lovely crafters, I hope you all had a fantastic week last week.  Thank you for your gorgeous entries into last week’s ‘it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas’ challenge.  It was a popular challenge and it was lovely to see so many of your wonderful creations.  As always the DT had a brilliant time visiting your blogs and seeing your beautiful creations.  Please remember to come back later as we will be announcing our lucky winner who will win the £10.00 voucher courtesy of DigiStamp Boutique and we will also find out who Lisa has chosen as her Top 5 Passionista.

Onto the new challenge, which has been set by Karen from Team 2, and she has given us the very easy and lovely theme of ‘use your favourite colours’.   As the title suggests Karen doesn’t mind what you make this week as long as you use your favourite colour schemes.  Obviously we know that this can change from day-to-day so just use your current favourite!  We’re always on the look out for different colour schemes so please can you tell us your favourite colours in your blog post?  Remember you can enter using any type of creation, it doesn’t have to be a card.  As always to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products (promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, aqua markers or metallic markers) and of course follow the theme.  Please can you help us by stating which products you have used on your creation I.e. ‘coloured with promarkers’ etc.  Thanks x x

Our generous sponsor this week is Lemon Shortbread and they are offering one lucky winner 3 digi images of their choice from their online store.  Their images are so beautiful so why not pop over to their store and check them out. The DT were lucky enough to use images from Lemon Shortbread on their cards this week.

The design team have worked their magic once again this week and have created beautiful cards to inspire you (please click on their names to visit their personal blogs and see more views of their amazing makes this week):

Another week of wonderful inspiration from the DT!! We hope you can join in with our challenge this week and we look forward to seeing what you create.

Don’t forget to mark your calendars as next week is the start of our month long Mega Christmas challenge!!  We have lots of amazing sponsors offering fantastic prizes so you don’t want to miss out.  Until then enjoy this week’s challenge.

Hugs, Denise, Gina & DT x x
